These Are the Most Expensive Cat Breeds in the World

Russian Blue

2. Russian Blue

This breed also finds its home in Russia, and, while they are pretty common in other countries now, rare varieties of this breed can cost up to $25,000.

They are known as Archangel Blues too for their greyish-with-a-tinge-of-blue coat of hair and silver tipped ends making this cat look otherworldly.

These aristocratic-looking cats are actually not snooty at all and make great pets for first-time cat owners, although they do require regular grooming. Fun to have around the house, this breed is not exactly clingy, but don’t be surprised if they stand by your bathroom door awaiting your return!
