These Are the Most Expensive Cat Breeds in the World

8. Peterbald

A breed of Russian origin, Peterbald is a result of experimental breeding in St.Petersburg. They resemble Oriental Shorthairs but – without the hair.

Not entirely hair-less, they can have different lengths of hair ranging from short hair and layered fuzz to practically none. Peterbalds can be pretty pricey with costs ranging from $1700 to $3000.

Characteristics of the Peterbald include a small noble-looking face, big triangular ears, and a fairly sleek body. Low maintenance on the grooming scale, they are a highly affectionate, loyal and friendly breed that loves playing with toys and people.
