Olga D. González-Sanabria, an American engineer, is stationed at the NASA Glenn Research Center. She is tasked with planning as well as directions several integrated services.

Interestingly, she is also the highest-ranking Hispanic woman at the NASA Glenn Center at Cleveland. She played a crucial role in developing the Long Cycle-Life Nickel-Hydrogen batteries.

These batteries are used in the International Space Station. Further, nickel-hydrogen batteries provide a very long cycle life of close to 40,000 cycles. Such batteries also offer long operating life in several satellite applications.
